GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

 18 "I (Wisdom) have riches and honor,
      as well as enduring wealth and justice.
 19 My gifts are better than gold, even the purest gold,
      my wages better than sterling silver!"
- Proverbs 8:18-19(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(The Lord says) 1 "Come, all you who are thirsty,
       come to the waters;
       and you who have no money,
       come, buy and eat!
       Come, buy wine and milk
       without money and without cost.
2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
       and your labor on what does not satisfy?
       Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
       and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.
 3 Give ear and come to me;
       hear me, that your soul may live.
       I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
       my faithful love promised to David."
- Isaiah 55:1-3(New International Version).

A QUOTE

When prodigals return great things are done.

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Blessed is the person who is too busy to worry in the daytime and too sleepy to worry at night.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

It was raining when I got up this morning but soon stopped.  It has been partly cloudy the rest of the day with high temperatures in the mid seventies.  This morning I walked around in the yard admiring the flowers and other things in the yard.  A Humming Bird was feeding on the red Honeysuckles.  It has been a normal Saturday for me, lunch with Charley, then to the post office and Walmart.  This evening I went outside with my books and some cat treats and cat food for the kitties.  I put out the cat treats and cat food and was just beginning to settle down and read when a few sprinkles of rain began to fall.  I came inside and finished my reading tonight in the recliner here in the den.  Later I went outside as the few drops of rain only lasted for a few minutes.  I walked around the yard as usual with cats following me.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the back of the couch and the others are outside.

At 10:20 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 61 degrees.  Have a Wonderful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
