GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

17 "For the Lord your God is living among you.
      He is a mighty savior.
He will take delight in you with gladness.
With his love, he will calm all your fears.
He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
- Zephaniah 3:17(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(The Lord said) 15 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
       Though she may forget,
I will not forget you! "
- Isaiah 49:15(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Maybe our trouble is that what we want from God is our answer, and when we do not get it, we do not recognize
God's answer which always comes.  - William Barclay -

SOME THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

The luckiest people in the world are those who do not depend on good luck.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

The shortest way to do many things is to do one at a time.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid seventies.  My pastor, J. T. Carnell, and Charley's pastor, Joel Kircher, had lunch with Charley and me today.  I sat outside and read this evening for an hour or so with the cats.  There was a breeze from the north direction so I had to come in before dark because it was getting too cool. More roses and Iris are blooming today along with some smaller white flowers that I forgot the name.

The cats are fine.  They are all outside at present except Little Girl and she has been outside.

At 9:50 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 63 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
