GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

15 Then he (Jesus) said to them (the Pharisees), “You like to appear righteous in public, but God knows your hearts. What this world honors is detestable in the sight of God."  - Luke 16:15(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 32 “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven."  - Matthew 10:32-33(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

He who loves God with all his heart dreads neither death, torment, judgment or hell, for perfect love opens a sure passage to God.  - (Thomas a Kempis in The Imitation of Christ).

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Some people think life would be more enjoyable if we didn't have to work our way through it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures around 80 degrees.  Darren and Kathy Schoggins came and mowed my lawn this evening.  It looks so much better now.  I sat out and read for a while after they left.  The cats came out also after they left.  More flowers are blooming every day.  Different colors of Iris.  A Rose bush that our daughter, Treva, gave to Flonnie for Mother's Day many years ago is beginning to bloom with beautiful deep red roses.  There are two big roses bloomed tonight and one little rose and many, many buds.  It was nice to walk around in a freshly mowed yard.  I do appreciate all the e-mails that I receive even though I do not have the time to acknowledge them.

The cats are fine.  They are all outside at present but Rascal and Itty Bitty just walked through the den on the way to the front yard.

At 9:40 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 70 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
