GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

      a false witness breathes lies.

A QUOTE

Faith is reliance on the certainty that God has a pattern for my life when everything seems meaningless.
- Pamela Reeve -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Never point a finger where you never lent a hand.

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day in McAlester, Oklahoma, with high temperatures in the low eighties.  This afternoon I went to see a man where I had heard there had been a black and white cat near his place.  I thought there might be a chance that it could be Happy.  He had seen a black and white cat but it was smaller than Happy and had been around before Happy was missing.  He lives about 4 or 5 blocks from my house at the edge of McAlester.  He and his son-in-law own 35 acres there at the edge of town.  He is 80 years of age and his wife died about 4 years ago.  He lives alone and seemed to be lonely and  seemed to really enjoy visiting with me.  He has Macular Degeneration and cannot see to drive any more.  He does have children living in McAlester.  I attended church tonight from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.  We studied from the Book of Joshua, Chapter one.  When I came home it was almost dark but I did sit outside with the cats for about 10 minutes or so.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is here in the den with me at present.  Rascal has been chasing a moth here in the den.  Happy has not come home yet.

At 11:00 p.m., skies are fair with a temperature of 65 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
