GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.  - Hebrews 12:1(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

9God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
- 1 Corinthians 1:9(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Prayer is reaching out after the unseen.

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

No one ever choked to death from swallowing his or her pride.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper seventies.  I attended Sunday School and church this morning.  I had lunch at home and took a nap this afternoon with Rascal.  We had a Spaghetti supper at the church this evening.  The cost was $5.00 per person or $15.00 per family.  All the money received went to a missionary family that our church supports.  I got home about 6:30 p.m.  I sat outside with the cats and read for a little while.  I then walked around the yard.  Some yellow Iris are blooming. There are lots of flowers yet to bloom through the spring and summer.  Flonnie planned for all the flowers and trees in the yard.  Of course I usually dug the holes but she was in charge.  Now when they bloom I have to shed some tears but they are partly tears of wonderful memories for the 61 years and 9 months that we had together.  I think she might be helping the angels with the flowers blooming in our yard.  As time goes along I feel that it was really God's Will for me to come back to this place.  I don't know why I moved in the first place.  I guess it was just to let me know that my place is here.

The cats are fine, going in and out as they please.  They catch insects, moths and whatever that moves and sometimes bring what they catch inside.  That is the way God made them.

At 9:30 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 69 degrees.  I will see you next time.
