GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

 (The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy) 15 "Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. 16 Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior."  - 2 Timothy 2:15-16(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

11 You (Lord) have made known to me the path of life;
       You will fill me with joy in your presence,
       With eternal pleasures at your right hand.
- Psalm 16:11(New International Version).

A QUOTE

We can reflect God's love in our lives based on the love we show others.

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Middle age is when you've met so many people that every new person reminds you of someone else.

NOTES

Today has been cloudy with a little light rain early this morning.  I had an appointment with my urologist this morning.  He thinks I am doing okay and wants to see me again in three months.  I had lunch with Charley and came by the post office and then by the county treasurer's office to pay my property tax.  About 4:30 p.m. I went to Country Mart for a few items.  I would like to welcome Alice to the Good Things tonight.  She is a friend of my good friend, Paula Caldwell.  I heard from Carol and Gilbert Hockett today from Oklahoma City.  I attended church with them when I lived in Moore.  I also hear from Michelle Angelina every time she reads the Good Things.  Michelle needs our prayers for her financial and physical problems.  I heard from Nan Forehand last night.  I hear from many of my friends and I don't usually mention their names but you can rest assured that I do appreciate all the notes I receive.

The cats are fine.  Rascal is usually close by checking on me and looking on to whatever I am doing.  Happy just came in and is eating dry food here on a desk by my computer.  Little Girl is on the back of the couch as usual.  I couldn't make it without my cats for company.

At 10:05 p.m. Skies are fair with a temperature of 47 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
