GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

29 The Lord is far from the wicked,
but he hears the prayers of the righteous.
- Proverbs 15:29(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

1 Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism.  And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.  5 Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was.  - Romans 6:1-5(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

A simple word of thanks to a person who is just doing their job can make a difference.
- Tom Felder -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

A laugh, like sunshine, freshens the day.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures near 70 degrees.  I had lunch with Charley.  I went to the post office.  Later I went to Walmart and came back by Sonic for a half priced hamburger.  Not much news today.  I had a call from my son, Ron, a few minutes ago from Oklahoma CIty.  One of his cats had died and it always hurts them to lose a kitty.

The cats are fine.  It is amazing how each one of them at different times will come by to get some attention from me.  I guess they think that I am a big cat.  They have been going in and out tonight since the weather is mild.

At 9:35 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 63 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
