GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

 3 Children are a gift from the Lord;
      they are a reward from him.
- Psalm 127:3(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

8 He (the Lord) covers the sky with clouds;
       he supplies the earth with rain
       and makes grass grow on the hills.

9 He provides food for the cattle
       and for the young ravens when they call.

- Psalm 147:8-9(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

It's good to know that even in our darkest days, Jesus continues to stay with us. - Tom Felder -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Where all people think alike, no one thinks very much. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

When I awoke this morning there was snow on the ground and it was snowing.  Our church canceled services today as did most churches in McAlester.  The snow finally stopped in early afternoon.  I have been home with my cats all day except I did drive two blocks to get an Oklahoma City paper.  They don't deliver Oklahoma City papers in McAlester anymore so I have to go to a convenience store to get one.  Of course I had lunch and supper at home.  On days like this is when I miss my Flonnie the most and long to go join her.  Thank the Lord for our cats that are so much company to me.  It was on a Sunday evening about this time when the Lord took Flonnie to Heaven.

The cats are fine.  They go to the back porch occasionally but do not like the snow.  Little Girl is here in the den on the back of the couch.

At 8:20 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 38 degrees.  We are supposed to have a warm sunny day tomorrow so most of the snow will melt away.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
