GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

1 Remind     the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient,    always ready to do what is good. 2 They must not slander anyone and must avo    stop quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to alllllllllll  l      everyone.  - Titus 3:1-2(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

 5 F                  For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and                  with humanity—the man Christ Jesus. 6 He gave his life to purchase            freedom         redemption  for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just t                 the right time.  - 1 Timothy 2:5-6(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

How muc          How much of a calm and gentle spirit you achieve will depend on how regular               quietly and consistently, persistently and obediently, you partake of the Word                 of God, your spiritual food.  - Shirley Rice -

NOTES

Today h          It has been partly sunny with high temperatures near 60 degrees.  I attended    attended   Sunday School and Worship Service this morning.  I had lunch at home anh  home and took a nap this afternoon.  I attended church tonight.  Tonight was Miss     Missionary Night at the church when we learn more about our missionar-                      ies  throughout the world.  One of the songs that the congregation sang tonight w     was "The Wonder Of It All" written by George Beverly Shea.  I will leave the words to     tthat song with you tonight at the end of the Good Things.

The cats are fine.  Beau is doing just fine like he never had anything wrong with him but I still have more antibotics to give him.  Little Girl is lying on the back of the couch here in the den.  Rascal was in to check on me a few minutes ago and here he comes again to check on me.  He really looks after me.

At 9:15 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 51 degrees.  I will see you next time.

The Wonder Of It All
By George Beverly Shea

There's the wonder of sunset at evening,
The wonder as sunrise I see;
But the wonder of wonders that thrills my soul
Is the wonder that God loves me.

Refrain
O, the wonder of it all! The wonder of it all!
Just to think that God loves me.
O, the wonder of it all! The wonder of it all!
Just to think that God loves me.

Verse 2
There's the wonder of springtime and harvest,
The sky, the stars, the sun;
But the wonder of wonders that thrills my soul
Is a wonder that's only begun.
