GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
      forever.
- Psalm 23:6(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! 52 It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. 53 For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.  54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled:  “Death is swallowed up in victory."   - 1 Corinthians 15:51-54(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Every sinner is condemned and every sinner has the same opportunity with God.

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Nothing is more highly prized than the value of each day.

Smart people speak from experience; smarter people, from experience, don't speak.

NOTES

Today has been a cloudy day  with high temperatures around fifty degrees.  I had lunch with Charles, went to the post office and a store or two, filled the van with $48.50 worth of gasoline, came home to the cats and took a nap.  I have felt better today than yesterday so hopefully I am on the mend.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl thinks that she has to be right here with me doing the Good Things.  Beau is dozing on the back of the couch and Emmy just came in and got  on  the high part of the computer desk.

At 9:15 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 42 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
