Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
- Matthew 5:3(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

21 So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. 22 Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. 23 But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.   24 After that the end will come, when he will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power. 25 For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet. 26 And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.  - 1 Corinthians 15:21-26(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

When reminded of some hurt or insult, there is wonderful blessing in repeating, "But I have forgiven that!"

In a human being, the wishbone is located just under the hat.

To understand the value of money, you have to save some, spend some and give some away.

NOTES

The Good Things are going out late tonight as I have been moving pretty slow all day long.  I have this head cold which I think is causing a lot of other aches.  I didn't feel like attending church today.  I slept some this morning and again this afternoon.  I have been outside only a couple of times today but I think it has been partly sunny today.  High temperatures were in the fifties.

The cats are fine.  Some of them are always around all the time to keep me company.  Little Girl is sitting on my computer desk, Beau and Rascal are playing over in a corner and Smokey is sitting looking out the front patio doors.

At 10:40 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 45 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
