GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 10 "For the Son of Man (Jesus) came to seek and save those who are lost.”
- Luke 19:10(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

25 But Jesus called them (the twelve disciples) together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. 26 But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. 28 For even the Son of Man (Jesus) came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”  - Matthew 20:25-28(New Living Translation).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

To escape criticism, do nothing, say nothing and be nothing.

When pointing your finger, look at your hand, three fingers are pointing back at you.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the low fifties.  I had an appointment with my urologist today at 10:45 a.m.  My bladder infection was almost cleared up but he decided to keep me on a lower dose of antibotics for a few days.  I had lunch with Charles.  I saw my Realtor and his wife, Allen and Sue Nixon, at Bob's.  I told them that I was glad my house didn't sell.  I think the Lord prevented my house from selling.  My pastor, J. T. Carnell and his wife Dianne, came in and joined Charles and me at our table.  Later I went by Walgreens and Walmart.  Of course I always go by the post office to pick up my mail.

The cats are fine, going in and out as usual.  Little Girl is here in the den on the couch.

At 9:00 p.m. skies are cloudy here in McAlester with a temperature of 45 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
