GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

21 Trouble chases sinners,
      while blessings reward the righteous.
- Proverbs 13:21(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

37 On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! 38 Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” 39 (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.)  - John 7:37-39(New Living Translation).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Life without a mission is a tremendous omission.

Failures are those who thought and never did and those who did and never thought.

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy in McAlester, Oklahoma, with high temperatures in the low forties.  I had lunch with Charles.  We always see someone we know at Taco Bob's.  Today we talked with Bonnie Smith, a lady I used to work with at H&R Block.  I went to the post office, bank and Country Mart Food Store.  The rest of the time I have been home with the cats.

The cats are fine.  Friendly, Little Girl and Rascal are in the den with me now.  Friendly and Rascal are sitting looking out the front patio door.  Of course they know they can go outside any time they want to.

At 6:35 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 40 degrees.  I will see you next time

In Christian Love, Everett.
