HAITI

The devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti some six days ago is beyond comprehension.  It nearly totally immobolized the country.  In spite of the torturous weather, fear of more tremmers, fear of gangs of machette carrying youth, lack of water, medicine, and supplies, the people are displaying a resiliency that is truly inspiring.  May the God of Heaven hasten the recovery efforts, comfort the disconsolate, put condemnation on those who would loot and pillage, encourage those who are seeking survivors and locating the dead, and all those so tragically affected by this natural calamity.

It appears that little can be done by the outside other than send money to aid the effort.  This is going to be a long term effort.  Decide which Haitian recovery effort you think to be best or most reliable and send a check.  You'll be blessed in the doing of it.  Perhaps most of you have already done so.  God bless you.
