GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

18 Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.
- 1 John 3:18(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

24 Give freely and become more wealthy;
      be stingy and lose everything.
25 The generous will prosper;
      those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
- Proverbs 11:24-25(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Sin is not an unfortunate slip or a regrettable act; it is a posture of defiance against a holy God.
- Max Lucado -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

God is in control; He is sovereign.
- From Reflecting God -

If people didn't say anything unless they knew what they were talking about, a ghastly hush would fall upon the earth.  - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly cloudy with high temperatures around 30 degrees.  I went to Crest Food Market today, then by the post office.  I picked up a sandwich from Wendy's.  I worked a little in the study this afternoon.

The cats are fine.  As I was lying on my bed this afternoon, Rascal was on a high shelf.  I invited him to come sleep with me.  He came and got real close to me and laid his head on my hand.  He is a loving boy.  Beau and Leo are cuddled together in the computer chair asleep now.  All the cats are inside except Smokey.

At 6:30 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 28 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
