GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

8 You love him (Jesus Christ) even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. 9 The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.  - 1 Peter 1:8-9(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.  - Hebrews 4:16(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

For all human love and goodness that speak to me of Thee: For the fullness of Thy glory outpoured in Jesus Christ: I give Thee thanks, O God.  - John Baillie -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Success is getting what you want; happiness is wanting what you get.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

One of the most difficult things to give away is kindness - it is usually returned.

NOTES

Today has been a nice sunny day in Moore, Oklahoma, with high temperatures around 60 degrees.  About noon time I went to a Dollar General Store.  I picked up a sandwich at Arby's on the way back home.  I did a little work outside to the deck at the back of the house this afternoon trying to fix a place where my cats used to get on top of the house and then outside the yard.

The cats are fine.  Smokey is in a chair near me and Leo is up on a high place here in the study.

At 7:05 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 53 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
