GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

“At that time Michael, the archangel who stands guard over your nation, will arise. Then there will be a time of anguish greater than any since nations first came into existence. But at that time every one of your people whose name is written in the book will be rescued. 2 Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace. 3 Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever."  - Daniel 12:1-3(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”  - Romans 10:9-11(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Christianity is just Christ - nothing more and nothing less.  It is a way of life, and He is that way.  It is the truth about human destiny, and He is that truth.   (R. J. Campbell, The Call of Christ).

Discontent is the penalty we pay for being ungrateful for what we have.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny and cold in Moore, Oklahoma.  High temperatures were in the upper thirties.  I had lunch at home.  About 1:30 p.m I went to the post office to mail a letter and then by Crest Food Market for a few items.  The rest of the time has been spent at home with the cats.

The cats are fine.  When I lay down for my nap this afternoon, Beau came and purred for a while and then he left to go to another bed to sleep.  Then Rascal came and snuggled with me as I took a short nap.

At 6:05 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 29 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
