GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(A Psalm of David)
 1 I love you, Lord;
      you are my strength.
 2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
      my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
   He is my shield, the power that saves me,
      and my place of safety.
- Psalm 18:1-2(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."  - Matthew 6:19-21(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day in Moore, Oklahoma, with high temperatures in the upper fifties.  We had a freeze again last night.  I have been at home all day.  I went out to the back yard two or three times before my son, Ron, and wife, Angie came to visit.  They came about 2:30 p.m. and brought Thanksgiving dinner.  It was nice and sunny out on the deck so we ate out there.  We stayed outside until about 5:00 p.m.  Ron and Angie went home about 6:00 p.m.

The cats are fine.  Beau is in my computer chair now.  The cats enjoyed our company while we were outside and would sometimes run and chase each other around the yard.  Beau spent some time in a tree.

At 7:45 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 42 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
