GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

14 Wait patiently for the Lord.
      Be brave and courageous.
Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
- Psalm 27:14(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

14 And God will raise us from the dead by his power, just as he raised our Lord from the dead.
- 1 Corinthians 6:14(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Do what you can with what you have, where you are.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

What you are is God's gift to you; what you make of yourself is your gift to God.

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day in Moore, Oklahoma, with high temperatures around 60 degrees.  I have been at home all day going out to the back yard several times.  I had lunch at home.  I was looking through some boxes today and came across all the letters from me to Flonnie while I was overseas in service and other letters that I had written to her before and after we were married.  She had saved every one of them.  I wish I could have saved the letters that she wrote to me while I was overseas in service but there was no way that I could save them.  I had to read a few of the letters this afternoon and also some from her that she wrote to me after we were married and had three kids.  I was in the Army Reserves for a while and would have to leave Flonnie and the kids for a couple of weeks for summer training.  It always hurt me to be away from Flonnie and the kids.  I have been feeling a little sad after reading those letters but I will be alright in a little while.  I don't know why I am writing this way except to encourage you to love your wife, husband, kids, brothers, sisters, mother, father and always be kind and thoughtful for you don't know when you might lose them.  My life will never be the same without Flonnie and I am awaiting the time when I can be reunited with her.

The cats are fine.  They are going in and out as usual.

At 6:45 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 48 degrees.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
