GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

1 A wise child accepts a parent’s discipline;
a mocker refuses to listen to correction.
- Proverbs 13:1(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

1 Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. 2 “Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment with a promise: 3 If you honor your father and mother, "things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.”  - Ephesians 6:1-3(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

A way to show respect is show up at events on time.
- Tami Stephens -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

It's better to prevent than to lament.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

One step that leads to problems is a tendency to hold grudges.
- From Discipleship Journal -

Usually people are down on anything they are not up on.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

We had fog early this morning in Moore, Oklahoma, but it cleared away and there was blue skies by 10:30 a.m.  High temperatures were in the mid sixties.  I was at home all day.  I went outside to the back yard occasionally.  I had lunch at home out on the deck.

The cats are fine, going in and out as usual.  Happy was sleeping in a different bedroom than mine when I lay down for my nap this afternoon.  He Immediately came to my bed to nap with me.  Beau is in my computer chair and I am in a folding chair.  Beau got the chair when I left the study for a minute or two.

At 7:35 p.m. skies are mostly clear with a temperature of 54 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
