GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

4 For the Lord delights in his people;
      he crowns the humble with victory.
- Psalm 149:4(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

22 Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. 23 For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing. 24 Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! 25 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 26 And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things?"  - Luke 12:22-26(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Jesus will judge us not only for what we did, but also for what we could have done and didn't.

NOTES

Today has been mostly cloudy in Moore, Oklahoma, with high temperatures in the mid fifties.  I walked around in the back yard and sat out with the cats for a while this morning.  I had lunch at home.  This afternoon I did the laundry.  I went to Crest Food Market for a few items.  I usually go to Crest to shop about twice a week.  I came home and ran the clean laundry through the dryer.

I met another of my neighbors this afternoon.  His name is Lowell Weger.  His wife's name is Carol.  Their yard joins my yard on the southwest side for about 25 feet or so.  They have six cats and two dogs.  He is a very nice neighbor.

I have written before about Sam and Amy, my other neighbors joining my yard on the west side. They have two cats, so you see most of my neighbors can get along with my cats.

The cats are fine, going in and out as usual.  I haven't seen any of them out of the yard today, not even Friendly.

At 7:15 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 50 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
