GOOD THINGS

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(The Apostle Paul wrote) 6 "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."  - Philippians 1:6(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(The Apostle Paul wrote) 9But he (the Lord) said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.  - 2 Corinthinas 12:9(New International Version).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

There's no limit to the amount of good you can do, if you don't care who gets the credit.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't.

NOTES

We had our first freeze for the season this morning.  The temperature fell to 29 degrees.  My Morning Glory vines are drooping.  We have had sunny skies all day with high temperatures in the low sixties.  I sat out for a while this morning with cats all around me.  I had lunch at home.  In early afternoon I went to Lowe's Home Improvement Store and then to a Dollar General Store.  At around 3:00 p.m. my brother and wife, Abe and Laferne, and Abe's daughter, Lyndell Holloway, came by my home and visited for an hour or so.  It was really nice to have them visit.

The cats are fine.  Itty Bitty has been here in the study with me as I do the Good Things.  She sometimes gets in my lap for a little attention.  We have raised her from a kitten.  She is about three year old now.

At 7:45 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 44 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
