GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. 28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.  - Galatians 3:26-28(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

9 He (the Lord) leads the humble in doing right,
      teaching them his way.
- Psalm 25:9(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Capable people who worry are rendered incapable of accomplishing their intended goal.  Worry makes you peck around on the ground like a chicken when you were intended to soar like an eagle.  - Paul J. Meyer -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Don't judge...you can't tell how far a frog can jump just by looking at it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the mid seventies.  I got a haircut this morning.  I go to a barber shop that is run by two ladies, a mother and daughter.  Both have cut my hair and they give a good haircut.  I always talk with them about my cats.  The mother cut my hair today and she has two cats.  The daughter likes cats but is allergic to them.  That is sad.  Curtis and Debra Schock, two good Christian friends from McAlester, Oklahoma, came by to visit today.  June was still here so the four of us went for lunch at Furr's.  We had a wonderful time of fellowship.  My son, Ron, and wife, Angie, came to visit this afternoon.  June and Ron worked on the fence and the new netting that I am adding to the fence will keep all the cats inside the yard, I think.

The cats are fine, but Smokey got over into another yard (my good neighbors, Sam and Amy).  June and I went over to their yard to try to bring him home.  We caught him but he got all excited at Sam and Amy and got away and I guess he is still over there.  They don't mind because they have two cats but Smokey needs to be at home.  Pray that he will find a way to get back over the fence the way he got out.  When a cat gets excited there is no way you can hold on to them.  Beau and Rascal are asleep here in the study.

At 9:55 p.m. the temperature is 61 degrees with clear skies.  Have a wonderful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
