GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.  - Romans 12:11-15(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

17 But the love of the Lord remains forever
      with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children
18 of those who are faithful to his covenant,
of those who obey his commandments!
- Psalm 103:17-18(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the sixties.  I sat outside in the back yard for a little while this morning (the cats were there also).  I had lunch at home.  I went to Crest Food Store this afternoon for a few items.  I was going through some pictures today trying to find a good picture of me in an Army uniform.  Pastor Doug is going to prepare a presentation on the big screen of the veterans on Sunday since Veteran's Day is next week.  I found one little picture but I will look some more.  As I was going through all the old pictures of years gone by of my sweet Flonnie and me and my sweet children and grand children, I decided it was time to re-arrange all those pictures for future generations.  So I will try to put all the pictures in new picture albums.  It will take a while but that will be a good thing for me to do inside since colder weather is coming on.  I read a couple of old love letters written by Flonnie and me to each other after I came home from service before our marriage and the tears began to flow.  Flonnie saved every letter that I ever wrote to her including all the many letters I wrote to her while I was overseas in service.  There was no way that I could save her letters while I was overseas.  I loved her dearly and she must have loved me dearly by saving all the letters.  We had such a happy life together for 61 years and 9 months.  Now I am just waiting to see her again when it is time for me to join her.

I had an e-mall today from my good friends, Jo and Adrian Carlson.  She said my e-mails always (lately) have a small attachment at the top left corner, which is only a blank page of different colors when opened....but it leaves one each time in her "Photos" folder on her PC.  I don't know what is causing that unless it is the color stationary that I use.  The Good Things that I send to Jo tonight will not be on color stationary and see if that will solve the problem.  Let me know Jo.  If anyone else is having any problems on receiving the Good Things, let me know and I will try to fix it.

The cats are fine.  Happy came and joined me for about 15 minutes this afternoon as I was resting.

At 6:45 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 57 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
