GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

3 Commit your actions to the Lord,
      and your plans will succeed.
- Proverbs 16:3(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

1 Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion;
they will not be defeated but will endure forever.
2 Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever.
- Psalm 125:1-2(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

God shall be my hope, my stay, my guide and lantern to my feet.
- William Shakespeare -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

A smile has immense face value.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Youth looks ahead, old age looks back and middle age looks tired.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today started cloudy but the skies cleared later in the day.  High temperatures were in the mid fifties.  I had lunch at home today and didn't move my van out of the driveway all day long.  I walked around some in the yard but it was a little too cool to sit outside.  Clariece, my brother Charles' wife, passed from this life sometime before noon today.  I talked with Charles this afternoon.  He seemed to be holding up okay.  He has been through a lot the past few months.  Funeral arrangements have not been made at this time.

The cats are fine.  They like to go outside about dark and play a while.  Most of them are back inside now.  Emmy came in the study a little while ago and meowed.  I assumed she was wanting out and sure enough she led me to the door.

At 9:05 p.m. the weather is partly cloudy with a temperature of 51 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
