GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

20 “If your enemies are hungry, feed them.
If they are thirsty, give them something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap
burning coals of shame on their heads.”
21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.
- Romans 12:20-21(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

12 But to all who believed him (Jesus) and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13 They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.  - John 1:12-13(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

The Bible tells us to love our neighbors and also to love our enemies - probably because generally they are the same people.
- G. K. Chesterton -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

If you want peace of mind, don't give anyone a piece of yours.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

It's all right letting yourself go as long as you can get yourself back.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny in Moore, Oklahoma with a few clouds sometimes.  High temperatures were near 70 degrees.  I had lunch at home.  I went to Crest Food Store this afternoon.  I sat outside a while this afternoon.  I talked to my brother, Charles, this afternoon.  There is not much change in Clariece.  She just lies there and opens her eyes once in a while.  Their three children are all with them this week end.

The cats are fine.  When I go out in the yard and walk around they go with me and stay outside as long as I am out.  Some will run and play and one or two will usually come and stay near me.  When I come back inside most of them will come with me.  They are really people cats when they get to know you.  Leo and Rascal took a nap with me this afternoon.  Beau is now asleep in the computer chair.

At 7:30 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 63 degrees.  Have a wonderful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
