GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

3 The Son (Jesus) radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.  - Hebrews 1:3(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

10 For examples of patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.  - James 5:10-11(New Living Translation).

Remember, the body is the only machine that breaks down when not in use.

NOTES

The day started with cloudy skies but became sunny this afternoon.  High temperatures were in the upper fifties.  I went out and picked up some lunch.  Later in the afternoon I went to Petsmart for cat food.  A little while ago I forwarded an e-mail to each of you titled "Friday Fun".  Please fill that out and send it on with a copy back to be and then I will know you are reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine.  Beau and Leo are asleep in the computer chair.

At 7:05 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 52 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
