GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.  - Ephesians 6:13(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

4 But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. 5 God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.  - Galatians 4:4-5(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

For despair, God gives hope.

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

One can be happy with his or her lot in life without being satisfied with it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back to the crowd.

NOTES

Today has been cloudy with occasional light drizzle in Moore, Oklahoma.  High temperatures were in the mid fifties.
I went out a couple of times today, once to pick up lunch and go by Wal-mart.  Later I went to the post office to mail some letters.   I walked through the back yard today and the leaves are beginning to fall.  When I first moved to Moore, one thing that I didn't see were crows.  The past few days I have seen three or four crows feeding in front yards.  I saw a half grown oppossum on the back deck the past two nights.  I found a place where he had dug under the fence so I put a brick there.  There are lots of birds and squirrels in my neighborhood.  The morning glories, four-o'clocks and other flowers are continuing to bloom in the back yard but the frost will get them before long.

The cats are fine.  Friendly is staying inside more now as well as the other cats.  Leo is asleep in my computer chair at present.

At 7:05 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 46 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
