GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.  - 2 Timothy 3:16(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

6 "And you, O Bethlehem in the land of Judah,
are not least among the ruling cities of Judah,
for a ruler will come from you
who will be the shepherd for my people Israel."
- Matthew 2:6(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

You have made us for Yourself, and the heart never rests till it finds rest in You.

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Contentment comes not from great wealth but fewer wants.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Everything can change in the blink of an eye, but don't worry; God never changes.
- Sent by Burlene Wilson -

It isn't the mountain ahead that wears you down so much but the grain in your shoe.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny in Moore, Oklahoma, with high temperatures near 60 degrees.  About 1:00 p.m., June and I went by a CVS store and then by Walmart Neighborhood Market.  Then we went to a restaurant called "City Bites" for lunch.  This is the first time I have been to this restaurant.  Moore has many restaurants.  June went home about 3:00 p.m.  I took a nap this afternoon.  I always appreciate all the e-mails that I receive although I don't always have time to answer them.  But rest assured, they are appreciated.  They are like saying "sic em" to a dog and I have to continue doing the Good Things.

The cats are fine.  When I lay down to sleep this afternoon Rascal came down off the top of a book shelf and slept with me.  Right now Little Girl is in the window here in the study and Beau is asleep behind me in the computer chair.

At 6:35 p.m. skies are clear with a temperture of 58 degrees.  Have a Blessed Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
