GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. - John 14:15-17(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. - Revelation 22:17(New International Version). One penalty of sin is that gradually you get used to it and do not know it is sin. - Oswald Chambers - You'll do more things that count if you don't stop to count them. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been another hot sunny day. High temperature was 94 but the heat index (the way it felt) was around 100 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office. I took a nap with Tony. I intended to go to Walmart around 3:00 but it was so hot that I decided to wait until in the morning when it will be a little cooler. I gave the cats their treats outside around 6:00 p.m. but I only stayed out with them for 5 or 10 minutes. Thanks for everything, notes, prayers and reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine, none are with me at present but I have seen all of them this evening.

Have a nice Friday,

Everett.
