Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. 12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. - 1 Peter 2:11-12(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” - Matthew 26:41(New International Version).

A QUOTE

I would like to think that in our Heavenly Father's kingdom there is a place for the animals and birds who enriched our earthly lives. - Audrey Marshall -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Most people don't set out to fall into a pattern of sin, it happens gradually - often with one compromise at a time. - From The Bible Promise Book -

The darkest night that ever fell on earth never put out the stars. - From Reminisce Magazine -

When your reputation breaks down, there is no place to go for spare parts. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been sunny and hot with a high temperature of 95 degrees but it felt much hotter due to the heat index. I had lunch with Charley and then to the post office. I came home and took a nap with Smokey and Tony. I sat with the cats for about five minutes. Thanks for everything, notes, prayers and reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. None with me at present but I have seen all of them this evening.

Have a Nice Thursday.
