GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age?Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? - 1 Corinthians 1:20(New International Version). 8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. Psalm 103:8(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Old friends are the great blessings of one's latter years. - Horace Walpole -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER The flowers or weeds that spring up tomorrow are in the seeds we sow today. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Whatever assignment God gives us, He will make us fit for the task. - From Reflecting God -

NOTES

Today has been a partly cloudy day. We had rain last night and another heavy thunderstorm just after 6:00 this evening. I had lunch with Charley. I went to a Family Dollar Store and then to the post office. I took my nap this afternoon with Tony. I decided to try another Good Things tonight. Thanks for reading.

Tomorrow is Independence Day. Remember the sacrifices that many have made for us to have a free America. Remember the thousands of people that have given their lives for our freedom. In World War 2, I saw my buddies killed and wounded around me. I prayed that God would take care of me and he did even though I was wounded with shrapnel from a Japanese hand grenade. Remember to pray for families that have lost loved ones in defending our country. Pray for our country. It there ever was a time for Christian people to live a Christian life and show love to everyone it is now.

HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE 4TH OF JULY AND BE CAREFUL WITH FIREWORKS.
