Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippines 4:6-7(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation-- 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. - Colossians 1:22-23(New International Version).

Little acts of kindness which we render to each other in everyday life are like flowers by the wayside to the traveler: they serve to gladden the heart and relieve the tedium of life's journey. - Eunice Bathrick -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Life may take us by surprise, but never the Lord God who knows the end from the beginning. - From The Bible Promise Book -

The whole worth of a kind deed lies in the love that inspired it. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

According to my records it has been three weeks since I did a Good Things. I thought that I would try one tonight to see how it goes. I am a little slow and have to change glasses between my computer glasses and eye glasses but I made it and I hope there are no errors. Since the last Good Things we have had rain every two or three days and sometimes more frequent. All the lakes are full and water is being let out at full capacity. Roads have been flooded and some are closed at times. We have had more rain today and will have more tomorrow through Sunday at least. I don't remember ever seeing this much rain so frequently and so long but maybe my memory is a little off so don't quote me on that. Everything is in God's hands so maybe he is trying to tell us something. It is not raining at this time. I am not sure about future Good Things, just check back occasionally.

My cats are all fine but having to stay inside a lot due to the rainy weather. Emmy is the only one with me at present.

Have a nice Saturday,

Everett.
