Good Things
Wednesday, April 8, 2015GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. - Titus 3:9(New International Version).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. - Revelation 22:5(New International Version).
A QUOTE
How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong - because someday in life you will be all of these. - George Washington Carver -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
Seize the day and put the least possible trust in tomorrow. - From Reminisce Magazine -
Weigh your words carefully before using them. - From The Bible Promise Book -
Wisdom teaches us to recognize and submit to the authority of the King (Jesus). - From Reflecting God -
NOTES
Today has been mostly cloudy with a high temperature of 80 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Pastor JT. I went to the post office, then to Walgreen's to pick up a prescription and then to Walmart for my weekly supplies. I took a nap this afternoon with Tony. As soon as I finish the Good Things I will go sit with the cats and give them their daily treats. See the prayer request in the next paragraph. Thanks for everything, notes, prayers and reading the Good Things.
Pastor JT will have outpatient surgery tomorrow on his gall bladder. Your prayers will be appreciated.
The cats are fine. None are with me but I have seen all of them.
Have a nice Thursday,
Everett.
