Good Things
Thursday, April 2, 2015GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
3 We know that we have come to know him (Jesus) if we obey his commands. 4 The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. - 1 John 2:3-6(New International Version).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
13 Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth, burst into song, O mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. - Isaiah 49:13(New International Version).
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
May you live as long as you want, but never want as long as you live. - From Reminisce Magazine -
Thankfulness depends on what is in your heart, not what is in your hand. - From Reminisce Magazine -
There is nothing in this life, Lord, that I cannot face as long as you are with me. Amen. - From The Bible Promise Book -
NOTES
Today has been partly cloudy. I had lunch with Charley and Pastor JT. I went to the post office. I took my nap. Tony was with me when I awakened. At 6:00 p.m. I sat outside with the cats for about 30 minutes as they had their treats. You notice that I miss the Good Things quite often. That is because this man is not what he used to be. We will carry on as long as I feel up to it. Thanks for everything, notes, prayers and reading the Good Things.
The cats are fine. None are with me at present but I have seen all of them this evening. They move around more since the weather is warm.
Have a GOOD FRIDAY!!!
Everett
