Sunday, February 22, 2015GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
11 In God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? - Psalm 56:11(New International Version). GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. - 2 John 1:9(New International Version).

You're not a failure if you fall down, but you are if you stay down. - From Reminisce Magazine -
NOTES
My daughter, Treva, came Friday and went home today. Yesterday was her birthday so I took her to an Italian restaurant last night, Giacomo's. This morning the weather was cloudy and the news said that snow had started in the northern part of our state. Treva needed to get home so she left around 8:15 a.m. I didn't attend church because she was going to call me when she stopped for anything to tell me how things were going. She did call about the time that I would have been in church. She was in Bartlesville and had run into snow but the roads were still fine. I lay down around 11:00 a.m. and went to sleep. When I got up around 2:00 snow had covered everything here in McAlester. Treva called a little after 2:00 to tell me she had made it home. She ran out of the snow after she got into Kansas. The rest of the day I have been doing what I usually do, work puzzles, read and watch a little television. The snow has stopped for now but I think it is supposed to snow more later tonight and tomorrow. Thanks for reading my notes and writing to me.
The cats are fine. They are all accounted for and are staying in due to the snow.
Have a nice Monday,
Everett.
