GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

20 My son, pay attention to what I (wisdom) say; listen closely to my words. 21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. - Proverbs 4:20-22(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 7 "Ask and it will be give to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." - Matthew 7:7-8(New International Version).

A QUOTE

It is good to renew ourselves, from time to time, by closely examining the state of our souls. - John Wesley -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Home is where our loved ones are, and where our thoughts linger lovingly. - From Best Wishes -

Opportunity is often missed because we are broadcasting when we should be tuning in. - From Reminisce Magazine -

The smile you give a stranger may be the only sunshine he or she sees all day. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 44 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. I went to the post office. I have been home the rest of the day. I took a nap this afternoon. Tony was with me part of the time. I gave the cats their treats at around 5:45 p.m. It has been very cool today. Cold weather is hard on young people but it is worse on older people such as me. I don't have a cat story to tell you tonight. Thanks for everything, notes, prayers and reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Leo is on a desk near me and Rascal is in our chair (we share). I have seen all of the kitties this evening.

Have a nice Friday.
