GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. - Galatians 6:7(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

2 The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him. - Exodus 15:2(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Peace is when time doesn't matter as it passes by. - Maria Schnell -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

The wiser a man becomes, the more aware he is of his ignorance. - From Best Wishes -

The world is like a mirror, reflecting what you do, and if your face is smiling, it smiles right back at you. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 49 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Pastor JT. Brianna was our waitress. I went to the post office. I took my nap with Emmy and I am not sure who else joined us. Last night about midnight I went to the front door to let Tony inside. A little half grown black kitten came running in the house with Tony. It got behind a chair and started growling at Tony. I tried to talk to it to calm it down but it just growled at me. I put some dry food down for it but I am not sure if it ate it. It stayed in my house all night and this morning it got behind the television, still growling when I talked to it. I had seen the young teen age boy next door with a black kitten so I assumed it might belong to my neighbors. I thought that I might have to tame the kitten and keep it myself rather than send it to the shelter and take a chance on it being euthanized. My neighbors left out quite early so I didn't get to talk to them until the middle of the afternoon, all the while the kitten still in my house, not bothering anything of course. When I finally talked to the lady next door she said yes, it was probably their son's cat but she would have to wait until he got home from school to check on it. He had activities after school and did not get home until after 7:00 p.m. this evening. It was his cat and it stopped growling as soon as it got in the boy's arms. A happy ending to my cat story tonight. Thanks for reading the Good Things. Thanks for your notes.

My cats are fine. Lucy, Rascal and Tony are with me tonight. Lucy in the floor, Rascal asleep in the recliner chair and Tony asleep on the sofa. I have seen all the kitties this evening.

Have a good Saturday,

Everett.
