Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:
1 The Lord is my light and my
salvation -
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life -
of whom shall I be afraid?
- Psalm 28:1(New International Version).
A QUOTE:
We can count on God to provide for us when life is unsure.
- Cindy Hess Kasper -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:
Greener pastures often have higher fences.
- From Reminisce Magazine -
Let God's Word fill your memory, rule your heart, and guide your life.
- From Our Daily Bread -
Well done is better than well said.
- From Reminisce Magazine -
NOTES:
Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 41 degrees. I had lunch with Charley, Bill, Denton (our nephew) and Pastor JT. I went by city hall to pay my water, garbage and sewage bill. I then went to the post office and then to Walmart before I came home. I took a nap with Tony. I put treats outside for the cats at around 4:30 p.m. Thanks for your notes and thanks for reading the Good Things. Information on Don's condition in the next paragraph.
*****************************
Here are words from Pastor JT on Don's condition:
He was first diagnosed with a brain bleed which is what sent him to the ER and in reality that is what happened. However, the source of that was finally discovered as of late yesterday, that a tumor was the source of the bleed. He did have a blood clot removed yesterday as well and although things are looking up...he has a long journey to recovery and he is not entirely out of danger. It is, however, far more encouraging than some of the news we had heard a couple of days ago.

The cats are fine. Leo is on the sofa and Rascal is in the recliner chair. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Saturday,
Everett
