Good Things

Saturday, November 8, 2014

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. - Ephesians 4:31:32(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

12 In him (Jesus) and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. - Ephesians 3:12(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

Confessing our sins to God and forsaking them brings a sense of freedom to our souls and the awareness that we have nothing to hide. - David McCasland -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

Even when we don't sense God's presence, His loving care is all around us. - From Our Daily Bread -

Life is hard by the yard, but inch by inch it's a cinch. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Timely good deeds are nicer than afterthoughts. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES:

Today has been a sunny day with a high temperature of 64 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office. I went to a tire shop and got the air checked in my van tires and then I went to Memory Gardens before I came home. I took a nap with Emmy. At around 4:30 p.m. I put treats outside for the cats. Right now I have the Lawrence Welk program on television going. Thanks for your notes and thanks for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Rascal and Tony are with me now. Emmy and Leo just went outside. I have seen all of them.

Have a wonderful Sunday. Everett
