Good Things

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. 15 For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. - 2 Corinthians 2:14-15(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

(Jesus said): 51 "I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death." - John 8:51(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

Something deep in all of us yearns for God's beauty and we can find it no matter where we are. - Sue Monk Kidd -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

A miracle drug is any drug that will do what the label says it will do. - From Reminisce Magazine -

It's not hard to meet expenses- they're everywhere. - From Reminisce Magazine -

To avoid being pulled into error, keep a firm grip on the truth. - From Our Daily Bread -

NOTES:

We have had rain all day long that stopped just before nightfall. The rain started sometime after midnight and McAlester received over an inch according to news reports. High temperature today was 68 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office and then I went and voted. My pain pills finally arrived at Walgreen's after 2:00 p.m. today so I went to pick them up at around 4:30 p.m. I had taken my last one half of a pill this morning so they arrived just in time. I didn't do a Good Things last night. That may be the trend now doing them every other night, but I am not sure about that. I took a nap this afternoon with Emmy and Tony. I fed the cats their treats inside tonight due to the wet weather. Thanks for your notes and thanks for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Rascal is asleep in the recliner chair. The others are around somewhere and I think they are all inside. I have seen all of them.

Have a nice Wednesday, Everett.
