Good Things

Thursday, March 27, 2014

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

4 For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; He is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. 6 Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and glory are in His sanctuary. - Psalm 96:4-6(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

16 Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. - Revelation 7:16-17(New International Version). We work better together than alone. - Anne Cetas -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

Many people will walk in and out of your life; only true friends will leave footprints in your heart. - From Thank You For Being a Friend -

Obedience to God is an expression of our love for God. - From Our Daily Bread -

The whole worth of a kind deed lies in the love that inspired it. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES:

Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 75 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. Tomorrow is the soup luncheon. I went to the post office. I came home for a few minutes and then went back out to Walmart for my weekly supplies and cat food. I took a nap with Smokey. I put food outside for the animals at around 6:00 p.m. Thanks for your emails and thanks for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Lucy is lying in the floor and Rascal is on a desk near me. I have seen all of the cats this evening.

Have a nice Friday.

Everett. Keep Thinking The Good Thoughts!!!
