Good Things

Saturday, March 15, 2014

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

(The Lord said to Job) 25 "Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm, 26 to water a land where no man lives, a desert with no one in it, 27 to satisfy a desolate wasteland and make it sprout with grass?" - Job 38:25-27(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil - this is the gift of God. - Ecclesiastes 3:13(New International Version)

A QUOTE:

A life of obedience may not be easy, but it will be blessed. - Julie Ackerman Link -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

A child is someone who passes through your life and then disappears into an adult. - From Reminisce Magazine -

The more you read the Bible, the more you'll love its Author. - From Our Daily Bread -

Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles, it takes away today's peace. - Passed on to me from Imogene -

NOTES:

Today has been cloudy with rain. High temperature today was 64 degrees. The rain started about noontime and has continued off and on. It is still raining. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. I went to the post office. I took a nap with Emmy. I took some food out to the storage house around 6:00 p.m. I enjoy receiving your emails and thanks to everyone for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Lucy and Rascal are with me at present. The others are inside somewhere due to the rain. I have seen all of them this evening.

I hope everyone has a Wonderful Sunday.

Everett. Keep Thinking The Good Thoughts!!!
