Good Things
Friday, March 14, 2014GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:
20 Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. 21 The wise in heart are called discerning, and pleasant words promote instruction. - Proverbs 16:20-21(New International Version).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:
3 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: " I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness. - Jeremiah 31:3(New International Version).
A QUOTE:
Whatever your age, condition, or circumstances, if you're a Christian, the hope of heaven is yours! - Joanie Yoder -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:
Our heavenly Father's arms will one day hold His children. - From Our Daily Bread -
People who give thanks for little will always find that they have enough. - From Reminisce Magazine -
Worship is the natural response of the redeemed heart. - From Reflecting God -
NOTES:
Today has been mostly sunny with a high temperature of 70 degrees. Charley and I went to the soup luncheon today. I had "Five Bean Soup" but I noticed that it also had some peas in it. Kathy cleaned my house today. I took a nap this afternoon with Smokey. I put food outside for the animals at around 6:00 p.m. I appreciate your emails and I appreciate each one that reads the Good Things. I don't know how much longer the Good Things will last. This old coot is getting old and tired but I want to take care of my cats as long as I live.
The cats are fine. None are with me at present but they have been around and I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Saturday.
Everett. Keep Thinking The Good Thoughts!!!
