GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD (Jesus said) 12 "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." - John 15:12-13(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD 4 Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth. - Proverbs 10:4(New International Version).

A QUOTE There never was any heart truly great and generous, that was not also tender and compassionate. - Robert South -

Happiness is an inside job. - From Reminisce Magazine -

True contentment is not dependent on anything in this world. - From Our Daily Bread -

NOTES Today has been a sunny day with a high temperature of 68 degrees. I attended church this morning. We had several things going on this morning in our church, dedication of new pew Bibles, annual election of church officers, pastors report for the year, and a sermon by Pastor JT titled "What if ... We Truly Would IMPACT our Community?" In addition to our regular singing, we had a good special duet by Janice and Imogene. I had lunch at home and then took a nap with Emmy. I watched Lawrence Welk's 1958 program again at 5:00 p.m. I put food outside for the animals at 6:05 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. I put the garbage out on the street for pick up in the morning.

The cats are fine. Rascal and Tony are in the den with me at present. I have seen all of the cats this evening.

Have a nice Monday to start the week. Tomorrow is "President's Day" so don't expect any mail. Everett.

Keep Thinking The Good Thoughts!!!
