GOOD THINGS Friday, February 7, 2014GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD 14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. - Psalm 27:14(New International Version).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD 11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, O Lord; may your love and your truth always protect me. - Psalm 40:11(New International Version).
A QUOTE How ungrateful we would be to enjoy the rich blessings of life without thanking the Father who is the source of all creation. - Bill Crowder -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER It takes less time to do a thing right than it takes to explain why you did it wrong. - From Reminisce Magazine -
What is done for Christ in this life will be rewarded in the life to come. - From Our Daily Bread -
NOTES Today has been a cloudy day with a high temperature of 32 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office to pick up my mail. I took a nap with the usual cats sleeping with me. At around 4:00 p.m. it started to snow but has stopped now. We may have had about an inch of snow this evening. I went to a chili supper at 5:00 p.m. at the First Freewill Baptist Church. They were raising money for their youth program. Thanks to each one who sends an e-mail and thanks for reading the Good Things. My mind and body are tired this evening for some reason but my cats are keeping me company.
The cats are fine. Still staying inside a lot. Lucy was in earlier today and just came back in. I was just about to write and say she hadn't been in tonight. Emmy, Leo, Lucy and Rascal are with me at this time. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Saturday. Everett.
Keep Thinking The Good Thoughts!!!
