Good Things

by Everett Chrsitian, McAlester, OK

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
11 Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart! - Psalm 32:11(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
11 And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. - Romans 13:11(New International Version).

A QUOTE
We shall meanly lose or nobly save the last hope of earth. - Abraham Lincoln - - 16th President of the United States -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
Our deeds are seeds of fate, sown here on earth, but bringing forth their harvst in eternity.. - Boardman -
The light of friendship is like the light of phosphorus, seen plainest when all around it is dark. - Crowell -

NOTES
Today has been a cloudy day in McAlester, Oklahoma with a high temperature of 53 degrees and a low temperature of 30 degrees. My housecleaning lady came at 11:15 a.m. and cleaned my house while I had lunch with Charley and Bill. After lunch I went by the post office and then by Memory Gardens cemetery before coming home. I took a nap this afternoon. I put food and treats outside for the cats at about 4:45 p.m. Since last time I have heard from Michelle, Alice, Burlene, Stan and Ruby(my niece). I always appreciate the e-mails.
The cats are fine. Rascal is in his usual place. Emmy and Tony have been going in and out causing me to get exercise letting them in and out. I have seen all of them this evening.

I hope everyone has a Wonderful Sunday!
In Christian Love, Everett.
