Good Things

by Everett Chrsitian, McAlester, OK

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. - Hebrews 13:2(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
10 Listen, my son, accept what I (wisdom) say, and the years of your life will be many. 11 I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. 12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. - Proverbs 4:10-2(New International Version).

A QUOTE
The sense of a holy God who is personal and near is an ever-present power which helpfully restrains us from sin. - Neil B. Wiseman -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
He who takes the child by the hand takes the mother by the heart. - From Proverbs for Daily Living -
It's not hard to meet expenses - they're everywhere. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES
Today has been cloudy with rain starting around 1:00 p.m. and continuing through the afternoon into the evening hours. The last I heard we had received over an inch of rain. High temperature today was 58 degrees with a low temperature of 34 degrees. I saw Charley and Bill at noon. I went to the post office. I rested this afternoon with Tony. It was raining this evening so I put the treats for the cats on the enclosed back porch. Since last time I have heard from Alice, Michelle and Geneva. Thank you for the e-mails. The rain is supposed to continue through tomorrow evening and we do need it.
The cats are fine and all have been seen this evening. None are in the den with me at present. Rascal has found a place to sleep in the living room.
Have a nice Wednesday!
I will see you next time, In Christian Love, Everett.
