Kenya
I received this today from Kisumu, Kenya.
My Dear Brother Quentin {Brother in Christ}
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!! You
certainly remain in my thoughts and prayers daily.
Yesterday, this is how things went out here:
Thanks for praying. I was caught up out of town, on
my way to town to get my kids via a roudy rough road
where fires were burning on the road. Prayers went
up, lots of fears and tensness. We are still waiting
for our political situation to sort itself out. We
will not give up on God to see this process through.
He is our only present hope.
Then got to a point where a giant stone was about to
be thrown on the vehicle where I was inside and
annoyed people about to set it on fire. Somehow, one
person stopped the whole crowd saying we better not be
harmed and they better not smash the car in which we
were traveling. The driver became numb. I waited
calmly, praying, smiling and waiting for the next life
or death moment.
Eventually got to reach the children, took them and
had to walk lots of miles to reach our home in a
nervous state all the way. We need God and prayers
more than ever. Please keep them coming.
I too continue to pray for all of you. Jesus is Lord
and remains in control. He holds the key to Peace for
Kenya. Amen.
With much blessings in Jesus name
(name with held)
