Good Things
by Everett Christian, McAlester, OKGOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
1-Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. - Isaiah 59:1(New International Version).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. - Psalm 125:1-2(New International Version).
A QUOTE
Whoever is out of patience is out of possession of his soul. People must not turn into bees, and kill themselves in stinging others. - Sir Francis Bacon -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
Dusty Bibles lead to dirty lives. - From Reminisce Magazine -
So live that your memories will be part of your happiness. - Author Unknown -
NOTES
Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 62 degrees and a low temperature of 37 degrees. My housecleaning lady came at 11:15 a.m. to clean my house while I had lunch with Charley. After lunch I went to the post office, Atwood's Farm and Ranch Store, Wall's store, the bank and to the car wash to wash my van. I put treats out for the cats at 4:15 p.m. and then took a short nap. Since last time, I have heard from Gaetano, Alice, Geneva, Stan, Quentin and Audie (my cousin). I like to receive e-mails. It is late so my notes are short.
The cats are fine. Rascal is in the recliner. The rest are somewhere close.
Have a Wonderful Sunday!
I will see you next time, With Christian Love, Everett.
